What is the smallest experiment you can run to verify the technical feasibility of each approach? Make sure that the experiment proves you can accomplish the hardest part in a reasonable amount of time. Too many projects fail because teams focus on the easy tasks first to show progress, and then stall out when they realize they don't have an engine in their car.
